Each ‘adoptive’ brewery of Arrogant Bastard Ale is entrusted
to ‘foster’ the sacred recipe to brew a single, limited batch of
the Liquid Arrogance to be served on draft in their taproom for
on-site imbibing only, with proceeds going to charity.

I vividly recall drinking Arrogant Bastard for the first time at my bachelor’s party in 2003.  No strippers were involved on this momentous day, it was a beautiful summer day in my parent’s backyard with good friends and family.  I remember how timid everyone was at taking their first sip— why are we not worthy?  The burst of grapefruit, raisin-like maltiness, and aggressive bitterness was a pleasant surprise, damn this is good… maybe I am worthy?

Thirteen years and many Arrogant Bastards later, and I get the opportunity to harness my inner Bastard, and brew a batch of Arrogant Bastard.  This is going on my resume.
